We launched a survey to ask our community how coronavirus is affecting them. We have called over 700,000 Floridians and talked to nearly 40,000 people, mostly women of color, about how coronavirus is impacting them. Nearly 1 in 3 survey respondents have lost work or hours and more than 2,500 reported food insecurity for their families.
Florida should provide relief for all our families, but they haven’t. That’s why we’re stepping up and supporting our communities, and pushing elected officials to do more.
We are mailing $200 gift cards to survey respondents who need food assistance. We ask you to join us in making a difference in the lives of our community.
