FRIDAY 3:00PM Presser
Florida State Capitol
Members of Florida New Majority, a statewide civic engagement and human rights organization, will mark the Tallahassee legislative session by reminding election officials how their election reform bill just do enough for voters.
The voters will be standing outside of the Capitol Rotunda with pictures of voters whose full right to vote has been left out to dry this session. They will host a small press conference at 3 p.m. before ending the day by hanging the photos outside of Governor’s Rick Scott’s office.
FNM is among several organizations statewide that have fighting to reform election system to remove obstacles to voter participation and protect Floridians fundamental right to vote. For more information, go to www.flnewmajorty.org.
